Saturday 15TH JULY 2017 Wannasee Huddersfield

MEAT LOAF
by PEAT LOAF

Experience the one and only, real Dead Ringer for Meat Loaf, 2014 Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Pete Loaf, who was also crowned National Tribute Award Winner in 2013 and is endorsed by the man himself.

After a stellar appearance on the Sunday line up at 2016's Penrith Wannasee, and due to huge popular demand, we had to bring Peat and the band back in 2017, as Huddersfield's headliner, as boy, can this guy sing!

With his full band and accompanying stunning female vocalist, expect a high tempo, adrenalin-fuelled headlining rock performance of all the sing-along classics like Bat Out Of Hell, Paradise By The Dashboard Light, I’d Do Anything for Love and many more.

MADNESS by ONE STEP BEHIND 'THE MASTERS OF MADNESS'

Each member of One Step Behind grew up as a Madness fan. Perfecting their individual portrayals of each original Madness counterpart, has been a labour of love, as they strived to match every detail of each of the original music legends, both musically and in appearance, creating that authentic 'Nutty' atmosphere.

Members of Madness have joined the One Step boys on stage on a number of occasions. Sax player Lee Thompson has played a few times commenting the band were “Tight as a ducks arse” and “Brilliant”. Lee is also quoted as saying that OSB were “single handily keeping the good ship Madness afloat”. Drummer Dan “Woody” Woodgate joined the band on stage for One Step Beyond and told the boys he thought they were amazing. "That's exactly what we used to be like - you've got it to a tee!" he said. Fine praise indeed!

You'd be hard pushed to think of many bands who have had as many hits as the nutty boys, so get out your fezzes and be ready to start to move your feet, to the rockinest, rock-steady beat of One Step Behind, 'The Masters of Madness'.
TAKE THAT PIC

TAKE THAT by RULE THE WORLD

The biggest and most influential boy band of all time, Take That, are now a 3 piece and you can catch, without doubt, the finest and most current TT tribute out there - the fabulous Rule the World.

Veterans of many TV appearances, including on the Graham Norton Show, these boys are unrivalled in the accuracy and authenticity of their performance, as they perform hit after hit.

Already Wannasee Festival favourites, we are delighted to welcome them back for a debut in Huddersfield. Expect the ladies in the crowd to be singing along while the men discreetly tap their toes!

Performing a full set of Take That classics with full backing band (and maybe a couple of extra songs alongside Tony as Robbie), you'll Never Forget this performance!
robbie

ROBBIE WILLIAMS by TONY AND HIS BAND

One of the first and best Robbie Williams tributes out there, Tony has been performing as RW for 15 years, with a huge amount of performances and host of TV appearances to his name.

Tony has already wowed Wannasee audiences in the past, along with Take That tribute, Rule the World, who are also appearing at this year's Wannasee in Huddersfield.

Now appearing in a full solo set for the first time at Wannasee, along with his own awesome backing band, expect a host of pop classics from Angels to Candy, Rock DJ  to Let Me Entertain You and Tony most certainly will entertain the crowd, with a superbly authentic and energetic set that will be guaranteed to have you singing and dancing.

If the crowd are up for it, we reckon Tony and Rule the World might also reunite for a song or two, as an extra treat.

You'll have No Regrets and Feel fantastic after this show!
oasis

OASIS
by OHASIS

Definitely, (not Maybe), a must-see band. This Oasis tribute will bring a touch of Manchester to Huddersfield, with all Noel’s and Liam’s classics, from the 90’s and noughties.

Oasis are, quite rightly, hailed as one of British music's finest ever bands and their anthemic songs always sounds best live, so this is a fantastic chance to hear Rock n Roll Star, Supersonic, Wonderwall, and a whole lot more,  blasted out loud and far on Saturday afternoon, when Europe’s premier tribute to Oasis hits the stage.

We can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
elton-3

ELTON JOHN by JOEL COOMBES and His Band

An accomplished piano player in his own right, Joel Coombes produces an authentic and captivating performance as the legendary Elton John. Visually, vocally and musically accurate, with a superb backing band, and startling attention to detail, this is a show packed with Elton’s finest, that has played all over the World.

Having already performed at our other Wannasee Festivals, previously, to rave reviews, expect to hear hit after hit that defined a generation, including Candle in the Wind, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting (although obviously it isn’t of course, but it’ll definitely be alright for partying!) amongst many, many more classics.
blondie

BLONDIE by
HEART OF GLASS

This Sunday Girl will not keep you Hanging on the Telephone, as her band perform all the classic hits from one of the most prolific female fronted bands of the last four decades.

Heart of Glass are a firm favourite with the Wannasee crowd and we can guarantee you'll know every song from one of the eras most prolific hit-making bands.

You’ll be transported back in time to the 70s & 80s with hit after hit, right back from when Blondie first crossed the Atlantic from New York and came to prominence in the UK, through to all their later classics.
