Tell me a bit more about the Wannasee Festival

Wannasee Huddersfield 2016 features a stunning variety of Europe’s finest tributes, to many of the most popular acts in the World, past and present. This fantasy line-up could never normally be seen together all at once, but across a packed day you can see all these bands, offering the most accurate live tributes to the artists they represent, in stunning detail.

Affordable

Wannasee Festival Huddersfield is the perfect way to enjoy a live music stadium experience, non-stop hits, from start to finish, and fantastic live music, entertainment, food and drink, all at affordable prices.

Great Views

With great views of the stage from all areas of the park and, with plenty of room on the grass for those who prefer to sit, rather than stand, you are welcome to bring in blankets, folding chairs, picnic boxes, etc, if you choose. Picnic food and water or soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles for young children can be brought into the stadium.

Is the Wannasee Festival family friendly?

Certainly! Wannasee is a family friendly event and children of all ages are welcome. Under 14s are free but must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult and there's a Family Zone area containing a number of free kids’ attractions, rides and face painting.

Where can I park?

Parking is FREE & will be available at a secure manned compound less than 500m away. The free parking numbers are strictly limited on a first come first served basis. Although we will take every precaution to ensure all vehicles are safe, parking is at the owners risk and Wannasee Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage to vehicles when parked here.

Other parking in surrounding streets close to the park is limited in summer months, and we would recommend using the convenient local public transport in the town.

What are the Opening Times?”

The main gate will open at 11.00am and the event will finish at approximately 10.30pm with gates closing at 11.30pm.

What about food and drink at the Festival?

On first entry you are allowed to bring in one sealed bottle of soft drink or water, maximum 500ml. Other than that, a small picnic may also be fetched into the park.

Wannasee will be running our own bar in partnership with Heineken enabling us to offer very competitive drink prices that will not make a big hole in your wallet!

We will be offering a good selection of draught lagers, ciders and beers plus some real ales. To speed service up we will also have a can only bar. All our spirits will be recognised premium brands, and we will also be serving house cocktails, shots a range of soft drinks.

We are fully licensed and there will be a wide range of food and drink available throughout the festival, all at great prices.

We operate a challenge 21 policy at the festival, so please bring a recognised form of ID if you are lucky enough to look that young.

Is there disabled access?
Wannasee Festival and Greenhead Park have full disabled access and there will be a separate viewing section in the park, for our disabled patrons. If you require these tickets, simply email us at info@wannaseefestival.com, or via our contacts page, with your specific requirements, and we will be happy to arrange them for you. Disabled parking areas next to the park will be clearly signposted.
